Steps to Request Deletion
- Send an email from the address linked to your Brainee account to info@brainee.academy.
- Use the subject line: “Delete my Brainee account”.
- In your email, please include:
- Your full name (optional),
- Your User ID (if known, available in app settings),
- Your purchase platform (Google Play),
- Optional reason for deletion (helps us improve).
- Once we verify ownership, we will start the deletion process and confirm by email.
Timeframe: After confirmation, accounts are usually deleted within 30 days. In some cases (pending transactions, legal requirements) it may take longer.
Data That Will Be Deleted
- Profile information (name/nickname, avatar, profile settings).
- Game data (quiz progress, stats, trophies, cloud/local data tied to the account).
- Preference data (language, notification settings, followed categories).
- Login tokens and active sessions.
Data That May Be Temporarily Retained
- Purchase and subscription records (Google Play) – kept for legal and accounting purposes. These records are also maintained by Google and do not allow account reactivation.
- Operational logs and backups – may contain limited technical data. Typically deleted within 30–90 days.
- Aggregated/anonymized analytics – does not identify you and may be kept for statistical purposes.
After required retention periods, this data is securely deleted or permanently anonymized.
Subscriptions & Purchases
- Active subscriptions are managed in Google Play. Deleting your Brainee account does not automatically cancel recurring payments.
- We recommend cancelling recurring payments in Google Play before requesting deletion.

Verification & Security
- For security, we may request additional verification (e.g., confirming from your registered email or providing a transaction ID from Google Play).
- If you no longer have access to your email, please provide as many details as possible (User ID, last purchase date).
Irreversible Action
Once deletion is complete, your account and data cannot be restored.
